ALL DONATIONS TO WCGHS SAVE THE LIVES OF COMPANION ANIMALS IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY.

WCG Humane Society fulfills its mission almost entirely through the efforts of unpaid volunteers.

Our programs and services are primarily funded by the generosity of individuals, businesses, and grantors supporting our efforts to help companion animals.

Limited support for the dog shelter from the City of Washougal may end in 2011.

Our community events and fund raisers increase awareness of homeless pets in our area, attract community support, and raise program funds.

Your charitable donations are essential to keeping WCGHS and its animals ALIVE!

 
Q. I have lots of items for a garage sale, but I would rather donate them to raise money for the animal shelters. Do you want them?
A. YES! YES YES! We hold a giant fund-raising Garage Sale every year in Lacamas Shores area. Call us for information on donating your unwanted items to this important sale. Watch for an announcement about the Garage Sale on our Home Page and Events Page.
Q. I am interested in naming the Humane Society as a beneficiary in my will, but I want the money to be spent exclusively for medical bills to help the dogs. What do you recommend?
We have a number of donors who ask to dedicate funds to a particular program or service we provide. We recommend that you specify it in your will. When we receive your gift, it will be placed in a special fund exclusively for that purpose.

'SPECIAL OCCASION' donations last all year!This year, make a donation in a loved one's name in lieu of a material gift. A donation to help the animals shows how much you care about both the recipient of the gift and the companion pets we serve! You will receive a receipt and GIFT CARD to give to the recipient. To purchase, print and mail in GIFT CARD Form. Or pick up a GIFT CARD at our Dog or Cat Shelter during OPEN hours.

EMERGENCY VET EXPENSE FUND - ANY AMOUNT: From time to time, we need to provide care for animals that are very sick or seriously injured, and depend on this special fund to save their lives. Click the DONATE button below to contribute to the WCGHS Emergency Vet Fund. Thank you!
